Please register here as a support driver for the On New Roads – 2026 Franciscan Peace Pilgrimage.

Support drivers will play a vital role in helping the pilgrimage run smoothly.
Responsibilities include transporting luggage for multi-day pilgrims from each morning’s starting point to the evening destination.
Drivers may also be on call during the day should assistance be needed, for example collecting a pilgrim with a minor injury such as a sprained ankle.

Support drivers would not be expected to transport anyone requiring medical attention beyond minor injuries.

We are deeply grateful for your generous offer of support. Without the kindness and commitment of volunteers like you, the Peace Pilgrimage would not be possible.

It is our intention that no one should be prevented from supporting the pilgrimage because of financial hardship.

Limited funds are therefore available to help cover reasonable out-of-pocket transportation expenses by way of an honorarium following the pilgrimage.
